If you were a fan of the cult classic film, FRESH, then you already know the phenomenal acting style of Natima Sheree. Natima took the film industry by storm at the age of 11 playing the role of Rosie in the 1994 hit movie which starred Sean Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson and Giancarlo Esposito.

Natima was born and raised in Jamaica , NY into a remarkably talented family that includes her father, internationally renowned

musician/producer Kevin Harrington, the late Mia Amber Davis Yard of ROAD TRIP fame, and the late great jazz musician Dizzy Gillespie.

A participant in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, her Big Sister Amelia Sheldon was very aware of the awesome talent Natima possessed

at a early age. When she saw a casting notice for FRESH, she did not hesitate to recommend Natima to go out for the part. With her parents

approval, she took her to the first audition, and the rest is history.

Life, as it often does, took a series of turns that led Natima away from her true calling. She became a devoted military wife and mother as she pursued a successful corporate career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Management. She has found success in many areas, becoming a highly respected mentor and leader in her community, much like the Big Sister that saw her potential and led her to the door of opportunity in the industry. She started The C Lounge (Career Lounge)  which provides career guidance, coaching, and job seeker services; identifies values, develop possible career paths, and develop strategies for professionals entering a new career or returning to the workforce. Develop individual employment plans, goal setting strategy, and networking skills. Provide job search, and resume writing assistance, soft skills vs. hard skills analysis, and instruction on completion of career portfolios; successful employment placement rate. She is  very proud of her mentoring program which is called M.O.D.E.L (Molding Our Daughters into Effective Leaders).   She has also faced her share of disappointments and adversity. Life has led her back to her true calling, and she is poised for a triumphant comeback.

Natima appeared in a 2007 episode of HBO’s hit TV series, THE WIRE, THE JOURNEY OF HERMAN STONE, (Down Beach Film Festival Award Winner for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor), Raymond Dean’s TRAVAIL and was featured in the music video, FUSS or FIGHT. She is slated to make an appearance in KING DOG with Ruby Dee and Akon, and plans are in the works for a reality series entitled ALL GROWN UP, which will chronicle Natima’s journey back to the industry.
